The Attorney That Rides 30-Hour Ironman LDR Motorcycle Rally that was held Nov 2018 is concluded and Dan Thaler finished first in the Experienced category. Dan’s riding bud, Greg Rice, came in second with a tie in points but Dan had more miles thus the thrust over the first place finish line. Here is a short video celebrating Dan’s win and showing prospective LDR riders on what to expect when they register for this Rally that always supports Veterans causes.
The next Attorney That Rides: 30-Hour Ironman LDR Motorcycle Rally: Coral Head Music fest will be in Marathon, Florida with a Riders’ Meeting for Feb. 15, 2019; Taking off on Feb. 16, 2019; and after 30 long hours returning on or before 1:00 PM Feb. 17, 2019. The riders leave from the American Legion Post 154 in Marathon and return to the same AL Post.
All proceeds to benefit Project: Vet Relief. The Rally only pays for the trophies out of the registration fees at sum up to about $300.
If you are seriously interested in this LDR (Long Distance Riding) rally I encourage you to book your hotel rooms or campsites NOW! This is a long distance endurance motorcycle Rally where the challengers are offered a map of points of interest (POI’s) to visit while safely riding their motorcycles in the Sunshine State of Florida and surrounding states. Each POI is valued different according to its distance, time availability, or uniqueness.
The goal of the challenge is to strategically obtain as many POI points as possible and returning to the City of Marathon with a gas receipt dated 1:00 PM or earlier. There will be trophies awarded for different category winners that include, but not limited to, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, most miles, and least miles among the few. The trophies shall be awarded at the CORAL HEAD MUSIC FEST in Marathon before the thousands of attendees.
