Fellow bikers, as we ride through the scenic routes of South Florida, there's a new hurdle on the road that's not just about the asphalt. On March 24, 2023, Governor Ron DeSantis put pen to paper on House Bill 837, titled “Civil Remedies,” ushering in a wave of tort reform that's set to shake the foundation of civil litigation in Florida. For us on two wheels, this means navigating a legal landscape where the odds are increasingly stacked in favor of big insurance companies.
